Before returning to his native Newfoundland to start his own company, Peter Dwyer had extensive experience in new-home construction all across Canada. Incorporated in 1989, J & P Contracting Inc. has been involved in various renovations and the construction of new homes in the St. John’s, Mount Pearl, Conception Bay South, Paradise and surrounding areas.

Recently, J & P Contracting completed Apple Grove Estates (a 12 lot Subdivision- St. John’s East), McGrath Place (7 lots in Goulds), Tyrwitts Brook (a 23 lot Subdivision in Mt. Pearl) plus a 35 lot Subdivision for Springwood Homes in St. John’s Mundy Pond Area. At present construction is well under way on Phase II of Vista Crest Subdivision – a 180 lot development in Paradise overlooking Adams Pond with access off Topsail Road directly across from Octagon Pond. Also starting construction in the Spring of 2007, is City View Terrace Subdivision, located just West of Columbus Drive and New Pennywell Road, St John’s.
